Event Description

The National WWII Museum in New Orleans will be hosting Heat of Battle IV, their WWII themed wargaming convention.

Heat IV will be held the weekend of August 13-15, 2010 (3 weeks from now) and currently features the following game events…


The Museum is looking for more GM volunteers. If you are interested in running a game in one of the coolest WWII wargaming venues you can imagine, please visit http://www.nationalww2museum.org/calendar/the-heat-of-battle-iv-game.html. Saturday August 14th the Museum will be celebrating the 65th anniversary of VJ-Day, so we are specifically interested in Pacific War themed games on that day. The Museum will be holding a special ceremony that day as well, in commemoration of VJ-Day. One GM per game run over the weekend will receive a free weekend’s admission to Heat.

Speaking of admission, each convention attendee gets complete access to the Museum’s exhibits, a weekend’s worth of gaming, more after-hours gaming in the convention hotel, and a student discount when attending the new 4D experience, Beyond All Boundaries. Yours truly will again be hosting a dual heat (Mid-War and Late-War) Flames of War Tournament on Saturday the 14th and a weekend-long Avalon Hills Classic Wargame Tournament as well.
