For those that play Ancient Warfare games, there won't be much that's new in this book other than in seeing what Sabin does with his model of ancient tactical combat and how it affects his views on those "missing" or ambiguous aspects we've had handed down from history. But for those never exposed to this, it's a "must have" work and does a great job in explaining the model, its application in various controversial battles, and recounting "lessons learned." Has anybody else read this book? For the professional OA guys, what nits do you pick with it?
