Many players have Dice throwing ritual handling. I personally sheke a d6 for five times in my right hand and gently shoot it against a soft obstacle. I also do prefer appropriate colours for the side I'm playing (so yellow-black dice for Austro-hungarians aso).
Can someone tell me other similar curiosities ?

i agree with the choice of appropriate colours - only red dice for soviets, black for nazi, blu for union and grey for confed...
so i can try to justify the hundreds of dice you can find everywhere in my game room.
Ciao Dario

that's correct. The problem was to find yellow-black 16 mm dice for Austria-Hungary.
Finally I decided to print my own dice ...
I prefer color-coded dice, as well. And I alternate between a dice tower or hex-shaped tray, depending on the game.
I have a beer stubby holder that I shake the dice in. I like to throw them into the game box lid to prevent disaster.
