If you had to choose just one definitive title for a conflict, theater/theatre or a campaign which would it be?
I am keen to hear your thoughts on the following topics and titles:
2nd Punic War
That might get us going in a lively chat!!

I dont know that title. I must say for someone who claims to like East Front games, I now next to nothing. I really need to get my shit in gear!
I was reading a web site last nite- a Napoleonic enthusiast, who lambastes The Duke of Wellington "old Hookey" as being an uninspired, not as great as history portrayed General. Good read.
2nd Punic War: I really liked Carthage Must Be Destroyed. It does not have exhaustive coverage of that particular war but has all you need to know about the rise of Carthage and the background that led to the three wars between Rome and Carthage. T.A. Dodge's old title, Hannibal, has great detail on the battles of the 2nd Punic War with diagrams.
Eastern Front: My reading has not been exhaustive but I liked Alan Clark's book, Barbarossa.
Vietnam: Stanley Karnow's, Vietnam: A History.
Peloponessian War: Donald Kagan's book by that title. Kagan is kind of "the man" on the war.
