I've noticed that the most recent offerings by Marshal Enterprises over the most recent years have involved the "trap" theme.  First there was Leipzig--no further explanation necessary about trapping Napoleon.  Then there was Friesland, where Bennigsen "steps in it" trying to mount a spoiling attack and finding out that he can't quite get back to safety.  Lastly, there's Aspern-Essling, where Napoleon crosses the Danube, the bridges don't cooperate, and Archduke Charles is trying to crush the bridgehead.  

What's next on the plate?  Are we continuing the "trap" theme and--if so--what's the next title?  If not, what is attracting designer's/developer's attentions and why?

Eric I never thought of it that way. We choose big, known battles that are interesting to us and our customers. Is Danzig also a trap?

If we can we'll include some smaller, lesser recognized battles that provide a good place to start and can be played in an afternoon. Our releases are always a surprise so we will keep you in suspense for a while. Play testing starts after the holidays.

It will never be a battle with the British.
