hi,
the LOS rules for slopes and brown hex sides come in to disagreements often.
the examples of play card does not show any slope attacks.. I have a question for members here that play the Game Panzerblitz....on Board #1 at hex # V-9 to U-7 ....counting the lettered hex as 0 and then across....can direct fire happen between those two hexes? or does the Brown Hex side at the bottom of V-9 prevent it?

attached is a photo. there is a Russin SU85 in the hex now but there was a German Engineers unit there. what do you think?
Thanks

No, that's not right.
the optional rule for real-space LOS determination clearly states that in the event an LOS crosses a "corner" obstructing hex side (as in this case) the benefit goes to the defender...so in this case there's no shot.
Thanks to both of you for your thoughts.
I didn't think the shot could be made either..
the brown hexside does indeed prevent V-9 from shooting at U-7.
(Note, this would be the case no matter whether you were using the standard or the optional rule.)
on the shot no i think it;s blocked -more importantly what are those cool counters
?
there was / is a guy on ebay who was selling them, they are nice and bright.
thanks for your comment. great to meet you!
i always thought the rules did not cover every aspect of loswith the different terrain-sometimes i just forget about the board and try to picture the situation in 3d and logically work it out from there. and sometimes ya gotta flip a coin! lol
nice to meet you aswell-yea great counters-my dream is to get the original counters with the BLACK backing!
