This puts a new spin on Jean Baudrillard's SIMULACRA AND SIMULATION!
It's a fantastic technology. My apprehension is that the narrative will get consumed by the technology, making the gems harder to find and the expectations dumbed down just a little bit more. Then again, I'm just a crank.
I hate to admit but my first reaction to this link was negative. But I read the paper by Rooke and Vertegaal and I was impressed with their work and imagination. It should be noted that their game concepts will depend on advancements to current OLED display technologies (not only thinner with wire-less connectivity but cheap as well) but I applaude their work and their anticipated use of technolgy yet to be born.
