With the Forums site still down, I thought I'd start a quick WBC AAR thread over here.

As a GM and with the family in tow, I had a more limited open-gaming time than I would like, but I still managed a pretty good array of games played:

Successors (my event)
Imperial (picked up a 2nd for my first plaque in about 5 years)
Halls of Montezuma
Republic of Rome
Kremlin
C&C Ancients
TransAmerica (coaching my daughter in the Juniors tourney)
Tales of the Arabian Nights
Storm over Stalingrad

It was great to see so many dear friends, many of whom I only see once a year. Thanks to everyone who made the events possible, particularly those who played in the "Successors" tourney this year.

So did MMP get to do any releases at WBC?

They have an Ops special issue that was supposed to be ready for WBC and one of their non ASL pre-orders.
The Ops Special looks great - one complete new game (on Gazala), a PanzerBlitz II mini game on Carentan, and a 1940 variant for Monty's Gamble. There might be something else in there too - I think I saw some ASL counters on one of the two (!) sheets. They also release A Victory Denied - Smolensk '41 using the A Victory Lost system.

Cool.

Now I have to get trigger happy on the MMP news page. I definitely want to order the Ops special.
Dr. Rob helpfully posted this link elsewhere, but here's my BGG GeekList covering my DonCon AAR.

I don't have an eerie looking avatar like JR, but I also put together a BGG GeekList on my weeklong escapades...
