RNC diverted me from usual fun.
Really enjoying clipping this one. First Gamers game that I can wholeheartedly say that about.
The counters are like old style SPI ones - easy to clip, matte finish, just pure beauty.
Skimming rules to Triumph of Chaos.
More or less finished with my Glorantha reading.
Clipping Black Wednesday.
The TCS platoon level Black Wednesday?
Glad to see you like clipping SPII, its a pretty interesting game. good for solo too.
Who said II? It's the original. =D
And yes - this will be my first foray into TCS - once I get around to it.
I figure The Gamers ain't failed me yet, so I'll see if they can even
interest me in WWII tactical. So far, only Ambush really did that.
Mmm...to be fair, I enjoyed Combat Commander enough to pick up
a copy.
oh yeah.. I like liked CC, for small engagements, but it started to feel hand churningly boring with lots of units on the board.
I will be interested to see what you think of Black Wednesday. Interesting battle, I don't think it has a lot of armor or air so you miss a bit there but it should give you a good feel for the battle.
Ambush... I just picked up those. I'm keen to give them a whirl. I hear it is really a one and done type of game however?
Got video on that series big guy?
No vids yet. The spoiler factor makes me a bit reluctant about it.
It has enough replay value for me. But, I wouldn't want to play the same
scenarios more than once every few years. Even now, with decades since
I last played it, I'm going to remember stuff, I know it.
