I have a problem with the game mechanics. A phalanx should be pushing forward and not stand still. Is there a way to recreate this?
The new GBoH title, Hoplite, does just that. Hoplites advance to meet the enemy line and don't stop or change direction. Worse yet, the player has no control over how fast they advance, with some units walking, others running. It takes great timing and some luck to manage a hoplite battle. The new collapse TQ check also very well portrays the shoving between two opposed lines. It's nothing like the HI/HO units in earlier GBoH games and I think you'll like it.
