Avalanche Press -- PanzerGrenadier System

Information

Avalanche Press -- PanzerGrenadier System

This group is dedicated to discussion of the PanzerGrenadier system and its games, published by Avalanche Press. When first released few expected to see this system expand so quickly, returning tactical gaming to the platoon level.

Any PG players in the Baltimore, Maryland area interested in playing Saturday afternoons?

Sava....have you played Desert Rats yet, and if so, how did you find it. I am awaiting my copy to arrive, along with Afrika Korps.

Really looking forward to get into this system!

I have Desert Rats.

How do the PG games play as solitaire? Has anyone developed some add-on rules specifically to make solo play work better? For example, I read one AAR where a solitaire player picked a 6-hex area for preplanned artillery and rolled a die each turn to see where the arty actually hit. (I expect to play Beyond Normandy solo since Vassal and Cyberboard aren't options).

I'm looking for some new opponents in the Columbia, MD area.  I've read the rules but want to start playing the series.  Please email me if you're interested in getting together, games/modules interested in playing, and timeframes/days that work.  Thanks!

Attached here are revisions to the Expanded Consolidated 3rd Ed Panzergrenadier charts.  The replace the earlier set I posted here on Feb 8 (which I've since deleted).  Thanks to all who provided constructive feedback!

Thanks for that link.  I just signed up and will move there.  I appreciate the suggestion.

Actually for Panzer Grenadier, a lot of discussion and posts have transferred to http://www.pg-hq.com/  if you are a pg gamer and have not signed up and contributed to this growing database, you are missing out.

Sure.  I'm just not playing much right now :)

Is this forum being used much any more?  Seems like no posts in a long, long time.
