I'm attempting to keep an up-to-date calendar of future ASL tournament dates worldwide at

If you know of any confirmed event dates I'm missing I'd appreciate a heads up. 8-)

A quick update on the Global ASL Ladder since its launch on May 3:

68 players have joined, 32 matches have been completed, 29 more matches are underway, and 9 new challenges are pending.

If you're looking for an easy way to find opponents for some friendly competition please consider joining the ladder.

Any ASLers in Chattanooga? I just moved here a couple months ago from Atlanta.

I have just posted the details of "DESIGN YOUR OWN COUNTER" campaign on our blog. We really need your ideas, support and advice to make it happen. Even you may only have one single idea of a counter, we will try our best effort to put it (printed with your name) on a countersheet so as to spread and share with other asl buddies.

Hi Guys,

Here is my review, session report and personal experience from the aformentioned Bitter Ender tourney.  Twas great fun to be back in the ASL saddle after so... many... years...

Don't forget - I'm hosting an ASL get-together at Game days May 6, 7 and 8th in Baltimore.  Come and play.

I am packing now for "The Bitter Ender", North Carolina's ASL tournament which starts tomorrow in Raleigh.    What to bring is quite a dilemma given all the gear that I am putting in my car is only about a tenth of what I actually have in total volume or pounds after all these years.    Still have not gotten the latest journal, etc. so that which came out just before and at ASLOK will have to do (quite adequately, no doubt).    I guess the goal is to play some new scenario so I am leaving the scenario card for ASL 1 behind (with untold other scenarios).    Those making the ASL Open in Chicago this weekend will at least have a play list which makes this part of  packing easier.     My new SK style boards will get a workout even though their lighter weight will make it a lesser workout for me.

as an FYI... Bryant Henley and Charles Stevens are running an ASL tournament at ConQuest Sacramento this next weekend on Saturday.

The NorCal ASL group, which has it's own yahoo group, is a very active group and we meet up at Olde World Games in Vacaville CA. This last weekend we had 8 players and 4 different games running. It's a really good group and the location is pleasant.
