So what makes you a fan of GMT? I for one like the fact that they plunge into new areas of history that many didn't dare go. and now many other game companies are bring out games on odd topics.

I think the different game series GMT does it so great,. the GBoH and Musket & Pike and Prussia's Glory let you re-fight so many different battles that would not normally be done.

But I guess the one question that could be asked is there anything you don't like about the company? That I would like to hear. For me it be hard to bring up even one thing.

But love or hate them,GMT as added to our hobby today what SPI did back in the 70's. Yes they are the true heir to the throne

Its games about "odd" topics, not always the typical thing: WW2,napoleonics or American Civil War.
I like the costumer attention too
I like GMT because they're publishing many interesting games in different topics. But the reason I love SPI is that they didn't just publish serious historical games, but also serious and interesting Sci-fi and fantasy games. I'd love to see this from GMT too...

Great continuing game systems, eye-popping but very functional graphics, intriguing topics, and altogether very high standards, they all come to mind.
Simple... They produce good quality games on a wide range of topics with outstanding customer service. Trifecta!
They do everything well. The games are nearly always well-done, better than adequately developed, with some of the most consistently best graphics in the industry. Plus, the product line is diverse, with a large number of games in print at any one time. Finally, the series are great, and I'm a huge fan of Great Battles of History and the Musket & Pike Battle Series in particular. There should be something for everyone in the GMT product line, and when you buy a GMT game, the chances of disappointment are pretty low.
Very good and consistent games. Games series. Interesting topics... and finally the MacGowan/Simonitch duet on excelent graphics, visuals and ergonomics.
I like GMT because they have good quality in their components and graphics! The development of games is done well and there are some capable developers at GMT and designers! I believe they have a good mix of solitaire, 2 player games and multiplayer games! I hope they continue producing excellent games! And also they have a playtester who is a wargaming slut! :-)
Allegorically - it is like someone has combined the best of SPI and the Best of AH to create a super Victory Games that produces the wargames I always wanted. What a pleasure to rediscover the hobby and have GMT there waiting for me.
I like GMT because they make good games that are fun to play. There is a wide variety of titles. Also, their customer service is very good. My favorite game is Combat Commander! I think it will be a classic game later! :-)
The stickers on C*C blocks. Is there anything cooler?
The tickers on C&C wood blocks. Is there anything cooler?
Well right now it is because I am still dazed by the Summer Clearance Sale! Aside from that I am sure it is partly the very co-operative support they have given PBEM tools like VASSAL, Cyberboard and ADC2, and the generally very good customer service GMT provides. But really it comes down to the products - I love the Ancient World series, the Great Battles of History series, the Musket & Pike Battles Series, Prussia's Glory and the Great Battles of the American Civil War, and a bunch of other excellent games.
