You know, on ebay, at $20 a game, you have a $1000 there. And you might get more, but I'd think a minimum net of $1000. Wow...

I know other people do that.

And no offense, but I'll make it a free deal for you and give you $30 for Citidel of Blood.

If you have DeathMaze, you have similar counters, Or you might have tossed a copy of this into Sword and Sorcery.

And I am not saying the game is or is not worth $30. It might well be you could get more, and it might be you couldn't get $30. I have NO IDEA. $20 is really all I'd honestly WANT to spend, but the concept of you getting 50 games FREE is too humorous to contemplate. :)

This should finish out the SPI / TSR games in the box:

Damocles Mission (unpunched, but counters are diiirrrty)

Nightmare House (punched)

Citadel of Blood (unpunched; looking at this game and the counters, I've seen this system in some other boxed game I have)

Return of the Stainless Steel Rat <really?> (unpunched)

Cassino (unpunched)

The Wreck of the B.S.M. Pandora (unpunched)

That's it for the SPI games.  In total there are 51 games.  What are the gems and what are the dogs?  As for counters, I'm hesitant to punch them if I can avoid it.  Would it be weird to scan them and print a "working set" of counters as needed?

Continuing along in my catalog:

Iwo Jima (unpunched)

Nordkapp Battle of Norway (?!) (unpunched)

The China War (unpunched)

Sicily (unpunched)

Tannenberg (unpunched)

Albion Land of Faerie (unpunched)

Barbarian Kings (unpunched; I swear I have a boxed / standalone version of this somewhere)

Ragnarok (unpunched)

And still more to go...

Below are the randomizer chits from SPI (apologies to all who've seen them before, I never had).

I'm back in my office and went back to the box'o'games:

Sixth Fleet (punched)

Acre (unpunched)

The Crusades (unpunched)

Rapid Deployment Force (unpunched; says TSR, but I guess it was after they bought SPI because the graphics are by Simonsen)

Vector 3 (punched)

Titan Strike (punched)

Stargate (punched)

The Creature That Ate Sheboygan (punched)

Eylau / Dresden (punched)

Winter War (punched)

Still more to come.  Obviously, the original owner had a subscription to S&T.  None of the magazines are included in the box.  However, it does include several issues of "Conflict" magazine which also incorporate games within them.

The box has some truly obscure games.  A couple by Third Millenium for instance.

Was that the only / real reason?  They hinted around at other issues in the message on the back.  I'll post it tomorrow when I'm back in my office (where I left the games).

Wow Christian - WHAT A SCORE!!!

IIRC, they hit a sarcity of dice during the oil shortage!  Much lamented. And thus, the chits.

Comment by Christian Lindke on March 20, 2013 at 4:13pm

That's a pretty nice score so far. I was hoping Combined Arms would make it to the "printed issue" stage of Decision Games' recent march madness.

Continuing along...

Yugoslavia (punched - in folio)

Wagram (punched - in folio)

Tchernaya River (unpunched - with randomizer chits also unpunched; Russ, what was the real reason for including these if they were more expensive?)

Operation Grenade (unpunched)

Fifth Corps (unpunched)

Desert Fox (unpunched)

The Omega War (punched) after TSR took over

Paratroop (unpunched, with addenda)

Combined Arms (punched)
