A place to bitch and fuss about the boardgame community.

Keep it within TOS folks. But this is a place to be honest.

What? He actually got a ban?

That miscreant MD has been suppressed!

Fair enough.

I've thrown together a framework site.

If anyone wants to use it, we can.

I'll have to poke around the admin panel to look at the defaults (make sure I

have registration set right), but it should be good to go. If it goes anywhere -

cool. If not, it didn't cost any effort.

If you think the constant sniping from sockpuppets I took for 2 years didn't cause any "damage"  you are mistaken! It was way past annoying.

True dat. But socks aren't an attempt to cause damage.

I'd consider them more like forging checks.

Red-x's are snitches. The proper response to
that involves Colombian neckties.

Just like sock puppets

Red x's are cowardly and despicable.

They do not ... unless something specific is brought to their attention through sloppy moderation.  If it were, and they retaliated ... you could strike back and get them a nice ban outta the deal.

As Enrico points out ... there are plenty of ways to game the system over at BGG. I suspect it's because the BGG admins have gone beyond the Supreme Court's "I know it when I see it" approach.  It's kind of humorous because they're expecting gamers to NOT GAME the system.  Seems like an odd way to run things, but then again I don't generate any income from gaming so I guess I'm the fool!
