How about a LURPS game, in HO scale. You can have fast movers, gunships, and of course, helos. Here's my email -, to send me the place, and possible dates/and times. Two of my 3 LURPS games are already sold out for this year's GenCon.

Ok, but it better have helicopters and close air support and smokin' missiles flyin' around!

Whatever you fancy, even modern. You can check out my photos to see some of the games I've run. System is The Games of War: A Treasury of Rules for Battles with Toy Soldiers, Ships, and Planes by yours truly.

Maybe. You never know. What a great sales pitch though!

What system? WWII? WWIII minis might catch my attention.

Hi Ty,

Let me know if you're ever interested in some real wargaming with minis. You can name the scale, 2mm. 6mm, HO, or 1/32nd.

Hi Chicago Area Gamers

I'm gauging interest in a Conflict of Heroes event at the new FLGS in Plainfield, IL. If you think it might be your thing, please take the brief survey here. I hope you can join us!

Hi folks

We have a semi-active group of war gamers in the western burbs. We generally play in the Downers Grove, Elmhurst area. Drop me a PM if you want me to add you to our efforts to arrange play.

You can see what we play here:

Re-entering the hobby after a long time away, and looking to play any of a number of the latest CDGs, GMT's Battles of the American Revolution series, Prussia's Glory, and/or GBACW. (I picked up Gringo! and its spinoffs to catch up on the latest variation of the system, having grown up with Pea Ridge and the like).

I see I'm not the only Chicagoan to not visit this group in over 2 years. Did everyone die/move away, take up Monopoly?

Hello, just joined and went on a recent spending spree of GMT, MMP Columbia games and am looking for like minded wargamers perhaps interested in a weekly game night. Am looking to play Rommel in the Desert,For the people, twilight struggle, Crusader Rex, Russian Campaign, FAB Bulge, Red star Rising, Napoleons Triumph and other similar games. Miniatures don't really interest me at this time.

Location - I live on Chicago's Northwest side and can play in the city or northwest or west suburbs.
