I could be the opponent for you Jsmes. I've only played a dozen times and am in California.

I have not. First I've heard of it. I'll look into it. I'm looking for more casual / beginner type play than tournaments. Thanks for the reply!

James, have you tried the Combat Commander Vassal Tournament Guild?

Any weekend or Western US evening-time online (VASSAL) players? I'm new to this, so where does one go online to meet such people?

Looking for Vassal CC players. I'm in the Pacific time zone. Let me know if you're interested in playing. Thanks.

@John - Yeah I probably should have said Columbia SC and not Cola, that is a bad on my part sorry, just so used to how the locals refer to the area now.

Hope you do not mind my selfishness in hoping you find someone to help with the drive, I really want this to take off and become an ongoing staple at RoundCon's. I do have the great fortune of having on Bryan Collars living local to me so I am hoping I can con him into attending/playing ... You hear that Bryan?

One of the things that I really like about CC is the RSG combined with the fact that you are at the mercy of the cards you have in your hand. I cannot tell you how many times I have been frustrated by not having the right card to be able to accomplish something. It really makes the game variable enough that I continually want to go back to it and play a scenario over and over.
