Are you in favor? Have you modified Typhoon on your own to make it work with EFS rules as they exist today?

Am in favor of this. If I remember right, there were some "optional rules" published in C3i magazine to retrofit some rules to OPERATION TYPHOON based on BARBAROSSA: ARMY GROUP SOUTH. What I remember most were the HQ activation rules--sorely needed. Very tough for the Germans to pocket the Soviets around Vyazma and Bryansk without that. As much as I love the OCS, I'd rather play this game than GUDERIAN'S BLITZKRIEG 2, mostly because it's soooo much easier/faster to play (if you can believe that!).
I got the original Typhoon (GMT 1995) and would love to play it sometime PBEM, as it is !
I also have "Blitzkrieg in the South" (WWW) and it seems almost the same system, and the precursor of B:AGS.
Weren't the "army paralysis" rules in the newer upgrades too quirky / unplayable ?
I started out with Army Group South. I had Typhoon, except I sold it. I remember 3W's Army group south game. I think Vance designed those and then later redesigned them with GMT. Ron
He sure did. The old 3W versions just don't compare to the GMT versions. They just don't.
The 3W coould have been called the first edition and the GMT sereis the 2nd edition. There is talk that GMT may make a combined Army Group Center and Typhoon game.
