Corey, EoTS will be right for you. I loved War in the Pacific (Im actuallty mulling on getting the Admiral's Edition) but its just too massive. EoTS has enough of the opertational/strategic focus while the cards allow to handle the logistic stuff in a very smooth way.

John: I've never tried to play this four-handed. The game provides for army/navy interservice rivalry so that implicitly forces changes of focus when it hits.

Is there a decent way to do this with four players?

You should check out the CSW EoTS topic and ask around, folks over there are usually up for a game.

Hi, new to Consimworld. I just joined this group. I bought EotS when it came out and played some using Cyberboard. I saw there is a good Vassal mod and was wondering if there was some kind of opponent finder? I haven't played in some time (at least a couple years), but I did enjoy the game very much. Any help would be appreciated.

Using the EoTS topic to conduct an online game in this manner has been really fun. At some point just using the topic for Q&A gets old for me and for the Board at large. Shifting the Q&A support to the support function has been great.
