I'll probably go as well. What war games are you interested in Neil?

Going to HMGSS Hurricon in Orlando late september.

Recently Dicetower.con here in Orlando had 650 people.  Next year how many??  could be huge.

I hope everyone can attend DiceTower.con in Orlando 7/5-7/8

Let me know and maybe we can play a real wargame in addition to all the board games.

I really enjoyed meeting you guys and I had a great time!  I only wish I hadn't gotten a cold that kept me "out of action" for most of it.  The entire boardgame scene has really allowed me to connect and interact with others that are interested in military history and the strategy behind it - it's been an epiphany of sorts.  Special thanks to Neal (when are we going to Joe's Crabshack again?!) and Chip (thanks for showing me how "Chennault's First Fight" works - we'll play that further next time we meet)  I look forward to gaming with you guys soon!

Chip, Dave, Neal, and a couple others met for lunch and gaming Thursday pre-Hurricon.  I will call this our first ConsimWorld Florida Wargamers meeting.

Thanks guys.  Lots of fun.

Chip,

Yes, it would be great to meet for that Thursday lunch.  Afterwards gaming.  I'd have to assume Hurricon has space we can use at that time.  Otherwise, my house also works.

OMG, this could be the first actual group meeting for our ConsimWorld Florida Wargamers group.

Neal, I'm in Orlando, let's do lunch or something.

Is there any chance we can all try to get together for lunch on Thursday, September 22 before Hurricon?  Afterwards, we can push some counters around and talk sttategy.
