Okay, just skimmed Designer notes.  It seems the movement allowances were changed as well, so I don't think you could play 2Ed with 1Ed counters.

Rafael, the changes appear in the designer' s notes for the 2Ed rules, that are on the Gamers archive website:

The one that stands out in my memory was the "Mussolini Line", forcing the Italian player to attempt to attack and not just sit around waiting for the Germans to show up.

Rafael, i think there were several differences. I'm not an expert on it. Was not supply in a new way? I thought also some counters were different?

The new SCS title, Karelia '44, is interesting. It is a David vs. Goliath type game with the Finns vs. the Soviets.

Actually I am looking forward to a Operation Market Garden that is not too complex.  Though I am hoping they can still capture the flavor of this Operation!

Hey guys, I made this question ad BGG some time ago but had no answer: what are the differences between AFRIKA 1st and 2nd edition? Are they only rules, counter setup, or the counters themselves are different? I was wondering whether it was possible to play the first edition (which I have) with 2nd edition rules (which I downloaded).

I'm looking forward to Heights of Courage but it's not getting pre-order love. Come on! Centurions vs T-62s - what could be cooler than that?

I wonder what the appetite is for this battle. With DC &WED from MMP , and now this, + other making games, how much different is the game going to play and how much value will be we from the titles ?  ( i understand DC and WED are different scale to SCS)
