GDW/Conflict - Their Wargames

GDW/Conflict - Their Wargames

For those who loved it when GDW came on the scene with their East Front game DNO .And then all those other games on subjects and campaigns/battles SPI & AH weren't touching.

Yes his games were a breathe of fresh air at a time when SPI and others were putting out a lot of unimaginative (but mostly servicable) cookie cutter designs..until recently I was under the impression that he had left the hobby entirely..great to see he's still in it..

I like your taste in games by Frank Chadwick, Steve. Victory Games is working on a bunch of games with Frank Chadwick on East Front, etc. and I enjoyed re-issuing Beda Fomm which was designed by him. We're collaborating now on a new project. I really like Frank's approach to game design.

Hi everyone;  Just moved to the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.  Looking for gamers that play GDW games, especially Europa.  Thanks!

After a month of receiving absolutely no responses involving my earlier request for photocopies of two missing counters from WHITE DEATH, it should be known that I've already successfully obtained them elsewhere from someone else.

Re. WHITE DEATH. Just bought a used copy of it and unfortunately it's missing two counters: the Soviet 59th Regiment of the 21st Guards Rifle Div. and the German 6th Artillery Battalion from the 6th Luftwaffe Field Division. Accordingly, could someone who owns a copy provide the counter backs info for each unit, i.e., the 7 factors for the artillery unit and the 4 factors for the Soviet rifle unit (listing them left to right beginning with the top row on the counter back). Also, what I'd really like to somehow arrange with someone is to get a proper color photocopy of  the front sides of both unpunched countersheets. Or, otherwise, to get a proper color copy of the front/back sides of these two counters (so I can make my own 2-sided replacement counters to look like the original counters). Thank you.

Does anyone have any idea where to find David Williams, the designer of Red Star/White Eagle and AH's Anzio? Any help at all would be appreciated ...
