Thanks, I read the rules thoroughly, but not the scenario setup. As it turns out Devin's Brigade (2/I/Cav) should have set up on 'B3424' instead of 'A3424' (as I did). Meaning they take no part in this scenario (all on Map A). The absence of this brigade would have balanced things out a little more.

I'm currently replaying the same scenario.

Great report!  I commend you for your diligence in researching the rules so thoroughly before attempting to play.  Have you tried any other scenarios, yet?

I've posted an illustrated AAR of the small Herr's Ridge scenario over here on BGG:

Very good deals, all i'm looking for is fair market value not a profit. As I bought someones complete collection of GBACW series & Gringo games and just want to break even.
DW is 20.00 & Corinth/Jackson is $100.00 you pay S&H
Do you have Pleasant Hill, Horse soldiers, Baton Rouge & Rebel Sabers?

I might be interested.  However, you should know I'm a cheapskate!  About 10 years ago, I found a copy of TSS in a game store in Lancaster, PA but it was $75.  I couldn't justify the price.  But when a copy came up for auction on ebay last month and I was able to get it for under 50, I jumped on it.  BA and WC I've had since they first came out.  As for Stonewall and Cedar Mtn, they came in a box of 70 or so games I bought from a bookstore last week for $30.

My best friend had our copy of TSS.  We played it many times.  He was always the CSA and never made any of Lee's mistakes.  He moved away and somehow misplaced it.  Now, after 25+ years, I've finally got my own copy!  I'd love to get Corinth / Jackson as well as Drive on Washington.  That would complete my collection.

@Robert - All my packages already arrived, but I'm starting with Normandy'44, the next one should be Dead of Winter. As a side note, just one of the two packages was taxed :D

@Carlos. So what is new with those purchases?

You will not regret it, after you've played it few times the customs thing will go away.
