I'm planning on playing SiV at this year's ConsimExpo. This will be my first foray into the series, despite having owned all of them for years. I'm also really enjoying the YouTube videos as a learning aid. Very well done!
Comment by Rafaell on January 16, 2013 at 12:20pm Hi, I was playing this great series back in the 90ties. Now I want to jump back. Who is willing to to help me out (I know dedicatet sites, videos and I have most documentation now). Cheers!
Looking for an opponent for live play or PBEM. I have all the games except Grant Takes Command.
Comment by Anthony Hicks on March 14, 2012 at 2:36pm Joey, I'll be happy to try this. Make me a boy in gray.
Joey, This is tempting, but I think I already have bitten more then I can swallow in terms of systems right now.
What kind of weekly commitment a player should have to play in this experiment ?
Well then I'd say post a message in the GCACW folder on the Consimworld discussion site asking for an opponent and get rolling!
Comment by Edward Hollis on November 15, 2011 at 10:05pm I did use the tutorial when I was trying to learn the game a few years ago but nothing like a real game to have the rules sink in a bit.
Have you worked your way through the tutorial here?
Comment by Edward Hollis on November 15, 2011 at 9:38pm Although I have all the games in the series,I have never had the time to do much with them. I figure it is time to learn though. I have been using Vassal with Skype for other wargames and hope I can contnue with one from this series. Which game would be best to start off with?
