My copy of Battle Above the Clouds arrived today, and it looks terrific! This is a subject that has cried out for the GBACW treatment for a long time. I really like the updated counters, but also welcome the return of Charlie Kibler to doing the map art for the series.

I just received my preorder copy of BAtC, and I have to reiterate Eric's comments. WOW! Probably one of the nicest games I have ever owned. The play aids, charts, booklets, counters, and maps have set a very high standard! I hate to punch the counters! If SJW II is this nice, then it's going on preorder too. Now to get it on the table...

Jim: There was discussion of this in the MMP folder on CSW this week. It is definitely soon, even the late preorders have started receiving their copies ... probably another week?

Does anyone know when Battle Above the Clouds will be available for general sales? I missed the preorder, and I'm aching to get my hands on a copy.

Glad it's making a favorable impression, Eric.

I'm going to be dropping by Winter Offensive as well ... it's only about 35 minutes from my place. Probably Saturday evening, but my schedule is still iffy for that weekend.

Got BATTLE ABOVE THE CLOUDS in the mail last week and have been ogling it ever since. Wow. Not only is it graphically gorgeous--moreso than any of the previous titles--the historical notes are awesome. Am going to play it at WINTER OFFENSIVE 2010 in Bowie MD this year!

Saw it demo'd at WBC. Looked good. Justin Rice has the lowdown.

Has anyone heard anything lately about the new Module: Battle above the Clouds? I can't wait till it's published!
