Our group has just goten into this game (thanks to Jim Lawler for introducing it)!  All I have to say is that we LOVE it!  It has replace The Napoleonic Wars as our groups favorite CDG.

Ed - have you ever thought of doing a multiplayer CDG on the period before WWI?  I wanted to liek Pax Britannica, but just didn't think it was that good.  Your take on the Wars of Reformation really made it come alive.  I think you could do the same with that time period as well.

Looking forward to playing HIS again and soon!

Marshall, I send you a friend invite so we can communicate to exchange emails without posting here.

I believe the game is now full.

Hi all I'm new to your group and Consim. I've only played one game of HIS as the Protestants (Men In Funny Hats - Vassel) and am excited for more.

By the way, the next round of HIS PBEM is getting started. I think you can get in, even if you haven't played in previous rounds. If you win a game, you can advance. Contact Bryan Collars.

I just played a face-to-face game of HIS where the Papacy took Istanbul on Turn 1. Of course, they didn't hold it for the net turn because the Ottomans sued for peace, but it was pretty cool--note that this wasn't a Papacy out of control....they almost won at the end of turn 4, ending up tied for the lead at 22 at the end of that turn.
