With the edit hex feature, does it put your image on the hexagon and make it unable to move or does it put a moveable square with the image inside it? Have just bought it and not sure if I have installed it right.

IIRC the edit hex feature creates a custom edit for that hex alone, which can not be copied or moved.

If you want to have something movable, you are better off creating an overlay of your own. You can start by making a copy of one of the existing overlays. Alternatively you could initiate the custom edit process, then take a screen grab of that hex, close the custom edit, go back to your image editor and paste the screen grab, edit and save with the other overlays. Just an idea, not tried it myself, but should be possible.
