How many people? Much boardgaming? Did AP make it? Any ideas on when and where for next year?

Yes, I am involved in Spring Maneuvers. We moved it to Overland Park this year. It was a pretty good convention.

Finally played my 50th face to face game of CC the other day. Even with the loss, what a game.

Not sure if you knew that Spring Maneuvers that used to be on Ft Leavenworth is now being held over in Lawrence, KS. The Ft Leav historical group that used to run it disbanded, and a group in Lawrence picked up SM and combined it with something else to make it bigger. I have not gone to the Lawrence version, but heard it is a good event to go to.

I want to play CC someday, but I haven't gotten around to it yet (despite adding all the add-ons so far to my collection). I'm in Olathe.

Looks like the last 2 Saturday sessions at Recruits have THW games being played by Ed. Should be good to go!

How many Combat Commander players do we have in the area? How about a wargame day with a CC tournament spread throughout? Summer? Somewhere between Kansas City and Lawrence? Any takers?

Sounds good to me.
AWI in 28mm? I am looking forward to the Kriegspiel game as well as anything put on by Ed.
Don't forget to schedule in sometime for participating as a player.

I'll most likely attend Spring Recruits on Saturday as I'll be assisting a gamemaster in putting on an AWI game. Want to Carpool Dan?
