I'm cross posting this from the ConsimWorld Forums site for your thoughts.

As part of my effort to broaden the assortment of scenarios and supplements in the magazine, I just picked up a copy of SPI's Firefight, unpunched and in great condition, from Noble Knight. Also, I'm considering something for Online of Departure Support. This would be a number of spreadsheets serving as player's aids. The first candidates would be for Avalanche's Great War at Sea/Second World War at Sea series, and would be for plotting movement. The way it seems to me, using spreadsheets would be easier for those times when movement gets held up by weather or combat, as cutting and pasting plots would be quicker than making notes or rewriting them entirely. Secondarily, there might be a way to calculate fuel expenditure based on spreadsheets.
Of course it would all be free.  What do you think?

Nice idea.

Creating tools to use for games with the advent of technology from spread sheets to die rollers helps.

I've created a few rules specific game turn trackers for OCS, TCS modules. It helps the old noggin' to NOt forget one of those date specific rules etc.

Love to see what you do here.

I curious too. :)

Most of it doesn't seem too difficult, though the fuel expenditure part will take some extra work and thought.
