Jim,

How goes it?  We spoke a few years back about republishing Seige of Jerusalem; any progress on that front.  I instruct a course at the University of Calgary called Jerusalem - but its focus is on the destrction of the second Temple in 70 AD.  Keep in touch.

Hi Jim,
you might update the adress to your web-site. The one in the header doesn't work anymore.
thanks

Right now I'm working hard on the next issue of the magazine. This year I've been busy with development work for Turning Point Simulations and Lock 'n Load, as well as the usual commitments of a halfway normal life. Look to for my article on Lock 'n Load's upcoming reprint of Britain Stands Alone, in Line of Fire Issue 2.

As it stands now, the lead article will be a review of Joseph Miranda's Manila '45 from Strategy & Tactics.

I'm also working up an analysis of the Mongols, and how they play in Devil's Horsemen. That will probably be one of the next issue's features, and if not, it will be published soon.

Right now, my plan is to get the magazine out the door by Memorial Day. Stay tuned for more details.

If you want free material, here it is. I just uploaded two new articles to Line of Departure/The Wargamer.

One is a review of Larry Bond's Harpoon - Commander's Edition, the latest iteration of Harpoon Classic, my favorite computer game of all time. The other looks at stereotypical banana republic fun and profit in Tropico, which is really a pretty good game if not a wargame per se. You can read about that one here.

As always, please let me know what you think.
