That could be hard - or it could be fun if done right....

Smitty, you play alot of Solo games right?
I have an idea for an M1 tank platoon game, the player would have to perform an "action" for each of the 16 crewmembers to do something and also move the Enemy AI, track fuel, ammo, etc...
Is that too much?
The original idea is for an entire tank company!!

Soviet Dawn and Israeli Independence are both high values games for "Lone Wolves".

"When one plays a game solitaire there's usually more time that can be dedicated to the game"
Thanks Andreas, that is what I wanted to know.

When I play solitaire I don't mind "too much detail" but I have all the time and space I need to play.

It seems like there are a bunch of recent Solitaire releases that are very simple and quick to play (VPG).

Wondered if that was a new trend or just a necessity for a small publisher like VPG.

Tony, I suppose if the game is good and exciting to play then these points are probably no show-stoppers. When one plays a game solitaire there's usually more time that can be dedicated to the game. 'fiddly rules, 'too much detail' - SASL is a great game it is said, so no I don't think that would be a problem. If the game sucks though folks tend to be less forgiving of course :P

Are Solitaire players willing to accept a solo game with a bit too much detail, "fiddly rules" or a bit more record keeping then usual?

Working through desgining a possible solitaire game.
Any ideas for non-player character (enemy units) movement in a tactical game?
Any examples of solo games with good NPC movement systems?

Playing Worthington's Victoria Cross game solo...the Zulus are suffering at the moment but determined to get the British out of their defences. Great game! Also learning the New Up Front Vietnam mod solo-fantastic!

Played Lock'nLoads Day of heroes too which plays very well solo I find.
