Just realised there are Groups on CSW!  I'm based in the north west close to Northwich - sort of in the middle between Chester, Liverpool & Manchester.  Main gaming interest is wargaming - do a lot of solo board wargaming (no players I know of close by) or computer and, increasingly, iPad games (AI and online).  Primary interest is WWII but have started branching out into different periods.

I hope some of you can come . I'm hoping a few monsters will be played as well as shorter games

Curretly playing Matrix Games War in the Pacific by email. I also have their Harpoon and Operational Art of War installed.

For board games you could try Second Chance Games up in Liverpool. They do a good service and sell new and used games. just use your fav search engine to search the name.

I have seen Satans little hole in Brighton....tucked away in The Lanes and out of sight...lol.
Redhill might be worth a visit if I venture that way at anytime.
Boardgame Guru is a good supplier, but he is in London, so not really local, but good none the less.

not a games shop in Brighton anymore- only the dark satan that is GW. Horsham has a nice shop, and theres a small shop with some wargames ( mainly euro games and RPG) in Redhill.

There are no game shops in Hastings, I think Brighton is the closest place with a shop, and even then I would imagine it is limited.
No wargame clubs here either, and I don't know anyone else in Hastings area that plays.
I am playing solo.....lol

It's a tough one - I'm down in Plymouth and we don't even have a proper game shop any more.  Meanwhile only Waterstones and HMV sell games, and they tend not to be wargames.  I'll probably end up doing some research, given I don't know what groups operate in the city, if any.  In fact, am confined to poker - as at least poker in the pub has a viable model that attracts new people.

I saw you were in Derby, and that you like The Gamers games. Never played any of theirs yet.

I am on BGG as nemesisuk, but I only use it mainly as a reference point. Did buy a few games off people on there, and it all went through well.

Are you into computer war games, if so , which ones?
