Rusted Dice,

I was actually ahead of you by a few years, and made up blank mapsheets as pdf files.  Most adhere to the old West End Games patter, and one is compatible with Advanced Squad Leader, MBT/IDF and Firepower.  You can buy them here:

I may be able to download a template from VPG for some of the mapwork I'll be doing there, but need to learn how to do it myself as well. Seems like a good basic skill to have, and I'll need all the practice learning the ins & outs of Ill/PS ovet the next months!  Just finally got all of my studio under one roof (back at Mom's to take care of her) and I need to get things up and running ASAP once the dust settles.

Oh boy!  I'll be coming back; just upgraded to PS5 a month or so ago and could use some of the lessons here.

Thought I'd share this URL for all you napoleonic map fans - a great site to stroll/scroll around, even if it about 40 years past the battle in question.

Not much going on here...

I have a question. Does anyone know where I can find some nice, open source, top-down view graphics for a church and a castle? I've tried to make these myself, but they have turned out awful.

It is actually alot harder to draw on the screen instead of a tablet. I've got one of the big ones (10 x 12 drawing area) and it works great.
