Gaming in Tennessee

Thought I would start this group for those who would like to find an opponet in Tennessee.  I live near Nashville myself.  Thanks for looking/joining/posting.  See you over the gameboard.

Hey everyone.  Sorry this hasn't been such an active page, but I'm going to change that a bit...I hope.  So anything going on with all?

Hey Frank, as you can see, this really hasn't been that active of a group.  We have a facebook page Wargaming Tennessee that if you can find there, you may have better luck.  I even had to reset my password for this page.

Hey Alan, what's the status of your ASL event?

All - I am going organize an ASL event in the Huntsville are for the August or September timeframe. I have a facility where it could be held, but also considering doing at a local hobby shop (which has plenty of space) - more to follow. Play either ASL or ASLSK.

Yes, I live in Hixson, which is right near Chattanooga.  I will send Michael a line.  Thanks for the great ASL tournament, Stephen!

  • OK, for those of you who missed it, we just finished up an ASL Tournament in Franklin at the HMGS Mid South NashCon.  We had a total of 8 players.  1 from Chattanooga, 1 from Ardmore, 1 from Jackson, 1 from Knoxville, 1 from Huntsville, and 3 from Franklin/Williamson County area.  There has been some talk to have another game weekend in the Huntsville/Ardmore area, but nothing definite at the moment.  If you are interested, drop me an email to me (see previous post for particulars) and I'll include you in future emails.  There will be another tournament next year again, so even if you don't/can't make it, gaming opportunities abound.

This year's winner of the tournament was Tate Rogers.  He won $50 and a scenario pack from Bounding Fire Productions.  2nd went to Jason Burnett of Chattanooga for $35.  3rd went to Alan Statham of New Market, AL for $15.  Several door prizes supplied by Precision Dice were also given out by random draw.

Fun was had by all and looking forward to having some more gaming opportunities in the near future.

Take care,

Steve

Hey Michael,

Just had an ASL Tournament in Franklin, TN about 10 days ago.  One of the players was from Chattanooga by the name of Jason Burnette.  He lives in Hixson.  Drop me an email at shmcbee at bellsouth dot net and I'll send you his email address.  He was commenting on lack of gaming in Chattanooga as well.

Later,

Steve

Hey, just a quick update on current activities.  We are playing the Full Campaign of The Longest Day.  On day 3 (4?) right now and it looks like the Allies have their foothold.  If you are traveling in/near Nashville, drop a line and come join us on any Friday night (changeable).
