I'd have to say THE DEVIL'S CAULDRON, mostly because of four things: (1) subject, (2) scale, (3) system, and (4) the incredible graphical treatment.

Open Question !

If you had to choose between Alamein (Avalanche Press) or The Devils Cauldron (MMP) what would it be?

Eric, I don't actually have the game ! I was thinking about buying it but being the frugle Scot that I am (!) I was hoping to find out more before parting with my hard earned dubloons - as luck would have it I see a replay just recently posted here so I'll read up on that. By the way lucky you for managing to get a copy of Where there is Discord - its sold out everywhere !

Andy, nobody's done it yet. You could start one on ALAMEIN. What do you think of it?

I tried to find a consimworld on AP's monster game Alamein but couldn't - can this be correct? I was actually contemplating buying this......

Hi there,
My name is David Lubin, I have been a game Grognard for most of my life. I am looking for opponents I would prefer Face-to-Face gaming, but will consider PBEM. I am mostly into WWII games though I do enjoy and have several ACW and Ancients (in fact one of my favorite games is Siege of Jerusalem Avalon Hill). I also enjoy Monster Games. I have a good collection from GDW’s “Drang Nach Osten!” and “Unentschieden!” Through the Gamer’s “Bloody Omaha” to the most recent Decision Game’s remake of SPI’s (I actually have both versions) “War in the Pacific!” Though I really enjoy all types and sizes of War Games!

I also enjoy board games like “Space Hulk”, “Descent: Journeys in the Dark”, “Tide of Iron”, “Memoir ‘44”, and many others. I also enjoy a limited number of RPGs, CCGs, and Miniature games. I am handicapped and traveling is difficult for me but I can host and I can leave a game up on the table rather indefinitely! So if you are close enough to drive here drop me a note and let’s play a game, my collection is over 300 games.

Thanks

Dave

Does anyone remember SPI's Highway to the Riech. Now there was a game. Ron

One of the most supreme monsters is playing the entire World in Flames with Days of Decision III. Ron
