Posted some of my AAR's over at my blog http://social.consimworld.com/profiles/blog/list?user=0j8wtwz9b9dzi.

I had a weekend by myself (wife took the kids to her parents house) so I played several free print-n-play versions of starship combat games.

Part of me wants to tel her to take the kids more often but I think she might take that the wrong way....

Blue, Imperium is one of my all-time favorites. How well is it received in Japan? Do you see any indigenous Japanese science fiction designs that you particularly like? Maybe we should bring them here to the United States. MMP's IGS line has brought a number of Japanese games here that we all love, games such as FIRE IN THE SKY, RED STORM RISING, A VICTORY LOST, and others.

The boom visits Japan from various foreign countries after a delay of ten years. Therefore, GDW, WE, 3W, and AH were main currents in the game manufacturer.
The game that becomes popular is Imperium and Fifth frontier war,SF3D(HJ) and a
n animated cartoon system game of Japan.
Afterwards, it is almost little in the annihilation modality that the SF game is
played now in Japan.

I better add to my SF list GDW's Dark Nebula(Imperiums little brother) ,Asteroid and Fifth Frontier War. plus SPI's Rescue from the Hive.

Most favorite SF game would be Imperium by GDW. followed by Starforce,Starship Troopers ,Web & Starship. Objective Mars and Omeba Wars- Oh,Stellar Conquest too.
Favorite Fantasy games would be Helms Deep/Slag Hills, Seige of Minas Tirith,Seige of Barad Dur and SPIs War of the Ring w/ Gondar & Sauron .
I like Hasbros Lord of the Ring trilogy w/Minas Tirth expansion and Fantasy Flights War of the Wing. both excellant.

I should mention I do own all the Orge/GEV games.fun litle games to play. ganging up on a Mk IV or V and taking it out is pure fun.
