I'm renewing mine for another year.

Death to Clear Channel and homogenized radio in general.

I wonder if it was the "snow event" on Friday that interfered. It worked fine yesterday and today.

My units are external, stand alone radios, and I haven't had anything like this happen to me, provided I have that clear LOS.

Maybe not in Mentor, but any place else?

Nope. I have never been to Mentor OH.

This was kind of weird. I turned on my XM radio when I was in Mentor OH, after driving from Pittsburgh, listening to tunes through my USB port. But after two hours, in a totally flat area not blocking a line of site to the satellite, and where my XM usually works, there was no signal. However, I could pick up AM and FM bands.

I called the company and asked if they had a transmission problem. Rajiv in Bangalore, or was it Muktar in Hyderabad, said that it had to be my radio or antenna, as they never have a satellite problem. Ever. He said to take it up with my Chevy dealer, and then pretty much dismissed me.

I waited a night, and then yesterday turned on the ignition and the radio, and my satellite radio worked just fine.

Has anything like this happened to anyone else?

Those are Sirius channels, aren't they, Tony? Some of the names are the same, but the channel number is different than XM's.

Been on XM since '07. Have a Delphi Roady XL for the car & office, and a Pioneer INNO portable for my morning walks and in my game room.
