The MMP demo area was right next to the GMT one. i can see how they might get confused...:) I only saw one game of AVD played at the con but it was out and for sale and seemed to be under a lot of peoples arms as they carried their games around. Lots of Bravery in the Sands were played though...

Ooops. MMP demo area, I meant! I think I had the little table signs stuck in memory that had GMT on them.

I saw a few people playing it as I walked around. It was at the GMT demo area a lot of the week and I saw one or two plays there as well.

So AVD made it in time for WBC?

Did it get any playings there?

Thanks, Matt! The game is a bit more open than most by design and needs players to think somewhat (which is why it is generating so many Qs) but it is a very rewarding experience to play.

Getting AVD out the door first but I am working on WED as well. I have the maps now and just need to proof them and send corrections to Niko. I would bet I get it all to MMP in late May - MMP should be pretty quick about getting it done and out the door.

WofG had a short sell-run, not a short print run, because at the last minute they decided to double up one of the counter sheets. That effectively halved the number of copies they had to sell.

But -- it also means they have the game 80% printed, requiring just one more counter sheet to be produced. Summary -- it WILL be rereleased in the near future.

When I spoke with an MMP guy two weeks ago he said they're waiting for another game with a one-inch counter requirement to go to the printer and the WofG sheet will piggy-back on that print run. I do not know when that will happen.

Really like Storm over Stalingrad and Warriors of God. Got SoS but not WoG. Bummed that WoG sold out so fast. Hope it gets reprinted soon.

Adam's "next weekend" means Jan 17th and 18th. I live nearby if anyone wants inside information on things to do and see, restaurants, etc.

Fair warning -- Inauguration on Tuesday the 20th means DC will be exceptionally heavy. Taking 301 into Bowie from the south is heavily favored, down I-97 from the north.

I look forward to seeing you there Adam. I'd like to stay for the entire con, but apparently I'm an adult now. I'll day-trip on Saturday.
