ETO/PTO was recently acquired by Chuck Sutherland. He left it at the EWR, and will probably NEVER get it back!

I'd give my left ammo bag for someone local who would compete with me in ETO and PTO!!!!!!

I thought there was only one version of the Final edition, I know of no other. Ron

I still consider TSR's ETO game the best ETO grand strategy game. It is playable, covers all major aspects of the war, but does not burden you with too much chrome. I also like Struggle for Europe but, because it is so large, I don't get to play it very often. I did recently get ADC2 and got the game board for SFE so I will try playing it using that. The problem I have with JP3R is the bucket o' dice combat system. On one battle I think I rolled over 30 dice to get the results. That is a little too much for me.

But to answer your question, TSR's ETO is my pick with Struggle for Europe my second pick.

What exactly do people consider THE best ETO grand strategy game of all time? I've got the Avalon Hill Third Reich (Third Edition), the Avalanche Press edition of John Prados' Third Reich, and both the Fourth and Fifth Editions of World in Flames. Right now, I'm probably most partial to World in Flames. But what do you consider the very best?
