Hi everyone -

Don made me aware of the conversation on this group. You can find an NC Wargamers group in the new "Community" section of CSW over at https://community.consimworld.com/group/nc-wargamers

I'll throw this out for the opening of negotiations on the matter. The new group will be C6: Central Carolina Combined Cardboard Combat Consortium.

Seriously, why not merge?

As this forum disappears in short order, I suggest that we combine the Triad and Triangle Wargamer groups into the NC wargamer group on the new site. Thoughts?

Shannon,

Welcome to the group!  We tend to email more than chat here.  Direct message me and we can link up.

Shannon: I suspect we have a mix of some FTF gaming and a lot of Vassal.  Knowing only 1/3 of the group membership that statement is probably wildly off.

Hey!
Happy to be part of the group. Is this group still active?

Hi Chuck,

Two things - 1) Chickamauga is a great visit - the park itself is pristine - it got protected early (one of the first national battlefields), and 2) thanks for breaking what looked to be a 10 month drought of commentary!

I saw this game last week at ConsimExpo and found it rather interesting also.   Lot's of actions via cards.

Last week I finally got around to playing Enemy Action: Ardennes. Randy Sands and I met at Atomic Empire in Durham and managed to get through the 2Player Dec. 16th scenario. It took us about 4 hours as there was a lot of rule book consulting.
My initial reaction would be this is a very interesting system. I look forward to getting more into this one. As the game has been out for almost two years I am surely way behind the curve on EAA. Any of you have comments on EAA?

Old School request. I am interested in playing the old AH Bulge '65 game. Anybody crazy enough to try this at some point? This was my all-time favorite wargame for many years until I got hooked on SL/ASL.
