I had not heard specifically. My thoughts are with you and I am really glad for your recovery so far.
When you are up to it, would be glad to get together for game of choice.
And, I would love to try Triumph and Tragedy - maybe at the game day?
Just to update you:
If you haven't heard, not sure who has heard and who hasn't, this fall I was diagnosed with tonsil cancer, and am currently undergoing radiation treatments in Chapel Hill. Progress has been good and all signs are pointing toward a cure, although the side effects have sucked.
Anyway, treatments will be over near the end of the month, and I hope we can have a big game day get together to celebrate at my place - but that is a long way off yet.
ASL team tournament in Kernersville April 6th - 9th. All skill levels. Call me at 336-462-4035. Some info found at www.ritterkrieg.com
Got your email message on Tuesday and responded same day. Sent another email to you Friday asking for address for your place on Saturday but never heard back after your Tuesday message. Sorry if there has been a miscommunication.
Did you get my message? Just making sure it got through.
Give us/me more details on times and game selections.
Is historical board-gaming dead in the Triad? I sure hope not! My dilemma is that I recently obtained a 2nd edition copy of GMT’s Triumph and Tragedy game that requires 3 players. I am seeking some interested gamers in the Triad area who might be willing to get together once or twice monthly to explore this title along with other games that we could enjoy together. I am willing to host and to provide a meal and beverages. Please let me know if you are interested, and I will contact you with further details. – Allen Joslyn (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Anybody going to PrezCon in February? I might go up to get rid of some of my inherited wargames. This weekend I will be up at Winter Offensive which this time will not have the blizzard I experienced last year. Ray
Whoops! Forgot to update my profile. I moved to High Point in 2012, so I am about 15-20 minutes from Kernersville, 25 minutes to Winston Salem.
You're a long way from the Triad - if you still live where your page says you do. Lots of wargaming between there and here. Have you moved?
