Hi Guys,
I expect to be in Perth for a week or so on business in early January.

As everything closes early, and I ain't a wind surfer, I'll need something to do with my time and I thought about inviting myself for a bit of wargaming!

Is anyone for a challenge? I can play anything, I have a 100+ game collection, including many 70's and 80's classics so I am sure we will have something in common.

No flights booked yet Stephen, but it will be sometime between 4th and 20th - probably right in the middle of the holidays!
I'll check your collection on BGG - what era/genre and scale do you prefer?

My word! Thats a collection alright ! Well there's time to contemplate, but after a quick browse, and looking at your ratings and comments, the following spring to mind first - ASL (any, but yes Japs and Marines are good); Combat Commander; if we ever had time Burma (I've played it, it is superb) or Here I Stand or Twilight in the East. I am also open to any other suggestions you might have of course.

I have about a 100 games, some of which I am keen to sell/swap. Are there any games in particular you are trying to lay your fingers on?

cheers,
Andy

ASL is always good...I haven't actually played for a while. I've been staging some mid week multiplayers on Wed nights. Latest on the table is 'Succesors' (AH). I wouldn't mind maybe an OCS scenario either..Burma is very high on the must try list. Currently playing 'Civil War' (VG) vai Vassal with a local guy.

Update.

Stephen - sorry but my trip is put back to February due to holiday's being liquidated in Aus in January and
further pressing issues elsewhere.

I hope not to cause any inconvenience.

regards,
Andy

I've found the internal debate (i.e. the debate in my head) has been to either play a lot of games poorly or a few games well. I prefer the latter model, but then you must, as you say, find that set of holy grail games that one chooses to become goo…

Chris: Really - that's a good point. I wonder if the Audi folks realized the message they were sending out with this one. I doubt if anyone found it funny in the least. Smitty

I've recently printed and built "To the Last Man." I was able to play the game and get an idea of its look and feel beforehand thanks to BGG and Cyberboard. It's an excellent game, one well worth the bother. I _hope_ it is just by unfortunate accid…

Yes, this was a creepy ad. I looked at the Audi website to compare this car to others. Oddly enough, you are unable to compare it to the VW SportWagon TDI, which gets exactly the same mileage.
