The official social platform for ConsimWorld
Despite the uncertain status of ZunTzu, I still find it to be a very desirable platform for creating electronic versions of games for local and solitaire play. While the ZT website has reappeared in…Continue

I can't use ZunTzu for online gaming. If I try to be a HOST, it seems there is something wrong, and no one can connect with me. Also if I try to connect with other people, it's rejected as timeout…Continue

I'm having trouble getting a game-box I've created to work. I've created a couple in the past and have been using a working game-box as a model. Still no joy. Maybe I'm having trouble using WinRar…Continue

Zuntzu group on the new website
Yes please start a ZunTzu group on the new website
Just a reminder. We are closing this social site end of February. We can start up a new ZunTzu topic on our new CSW Community.
Hi ZT faithful, Methinks I may have posted this the wrong place; see E Gallego's post above . . . Concerning connection problems!
Jerome has written a post on ZT forums concerning this issue.
See Networking instructions needed - ZunTzu
It's in the General Discussion tab . . .
So, get your ZT playing fix over the net!
Regards, Rich
That is really cool Terry!
It turns out that it is perfectly feasible to play a ZunTzu game over the Internet using Zoom. The meeting host should configure his Share Screen settings to "Enable remote control of all applications". Once the meeting has started, he shares his screen so that all participants will be able to see the game components. (I have not been able to get it to share only the ZunTzu application window, even though that should be possible, but I can share just the portion of the screen comprising that window.) The host can then give control of the application to the player whose turn it is. That player will be able to manipulate the map and units just as if they were on his own PC. So far it is working remarkably well. The only catch is that the host needs to be careful not to move his own mouse around while someone else is using remote control.
I wonder if both use Discord, you could screen share the application so you could see moves?
And how do you see the moves the opponent has done? Vassal has mechanisms to do that (you save log files that can be replayed), ZunTzu doesn't.
I don't think you would need to change the application. If both players have the same gamebox and pass a saved game file back and forth wouldn't that work?
I noticed people were using vassal this way on discord
