This group is dedicated to the series of tactical World War II air combat published by Clash of Arms Games and designed by veteran aviator J.D. Webster. There are three games in the series: OVER THE REICH, ACHTUNG--SPITFIRE!, and WHISTLING DEATH. The website shown is a terrific resource site that anyone interested in the game should consult--lots of good links, aircraft data cards, subscription buttons to related Yahoo! Groups, and the famed Quick Start Rules and scenarios for getting new people into the system. For some of us, the older games (such as AIR FORCE and DAUNTLESS) and the current flight simulator computer games just don't hack it--these board wargame titles seem to scratch our itch. We love them for club events/multiplayer...four to six players being optimum. More than that is possible, but slows down the gameplay.

Just received Whispering Death. System seems a bit daunting but eager to learn this one. Encouraged by the review/comments of other players.
