Neat Picture. I was up in Afghanistan at that time. but my dad flew into/out of Iraq several times for state dept stuff.

JSOTF-N was also interesting, but in a much better way than it was for V Corps. The climate up north was batter, too. It was merely awful. instead of being hellish.

Oh, I didn't get to fly on it! No mission required that. They just let me gawk at it and have my picture taken next to it.

I did get to fly into the country on a C-17 carrying an Abrams, though, and I don't think many people have gotten to do that.

Where I was was extreme Joint warfare. We were so jointed we could have bee a snake.
