Hi Adam - Wednesday is the only day I can't make :(

I will get my ASL stuff out tomorrow and look over some scenarios - let me know if any other date is any good for you.

my email is: david.j.murray@btinternet.com

Hi Adam - well it is the holidays so if you want to meet up in the next week or so that would be good as I am not going away this holiday. I am quite happy to run through ASL with you - I am a little rusty but I am sure it is just like riding a bike (a pretty complicated bike for sure). I have most of the ASL stuff up to Armies of oblivion. PG is pretty simple but I am rusty on that as well, I have a quite a few games in that system covering most fronts. Suggest a date and a game (so I can try and recap on stuff so I don't look a complete fool) and get back to me...

Regards

Hi Adam, good to hear from you – us wargamers are a little thin on the ground in these parts.

My profile is a little out of date – I am also a primary school teacher teaching in a small school – we only have 28 pupils. I had a regular gaming buddy up near you but he moved away and things have been a little quiet on the gaming from since then.

I have filled my time designing games (mainly due to the lack of a local opponent). I designed the Cassino module for PG and wrote a couple of the Campaign and Commanders’ books. I have a Wild West single man game called Outlaws: Adventures in the Old West (which I am sitting here working on when I picked up your message). I have a couple of games in development with Compass Games, Anzio: Operation Shingle and Combat Patrol.

ASL is still my all-time favourite game but I have not played in a while. I am pretty open to play anything and like you I only have a small games collection. I recently bought Lost Battles, which has been quite fun and I am seriously considering playing a solo game of JP Third Reich.

I will be more than happy to meet up and play anything – as we are both teachers we get plenty of holidays! Drop me a line if you want to meet. I would be happy to host or to come to you…

Regards
