Your introduction to consim gaming:
A roommate of my parents left a copy of Blitzkrieg behind in the early 70s. I taught myself how to play it, then immediately set to modifying it to my liking. Got a copy of Midway and set about creating a naval system for Blitzkrieg. The rest is history.
