Profile Information

Your introduction to consim gaming:
I learned about consim gaming through information provided by Gary Christainsen and Steven Bucey, members of the Columbus Area Boardgaming Society (CABS). My first game was Tactics II which I got in 1962. In high school and college played many of the AH classics and SPI/S&T mag games. After college, but before marriage we played a lot of divisional Panzer Leader and Panzer Blitz. But now the kids are grown and I have retired and I am seeking ftf opponents. I have not yet used any email game formats, but I maybe could learn them.
Your favorite game(s):
I still favor the older Avalon Hill boardgames. Favorites include: Luftwaffe, Waterloo, D-Day 77, Stalingrad, Jutland, Richthofen's War, Panzer Leader, Battle of the Bulge, Guadelcanal, Gettysburg 58/ 61and Midway are among my favorites. I also enjoy many of the SPI older games
