"Rob, Thanks for asking me to become your friend. As far as "The Epic of the Pelopponesian War" goes, I visit that forum everyday just because I own the game. I have never played it though since there is no one around where I live…"
I got into gaming in 1961. I have witnessed the death of giants (AH & SPI). I have also witnesses the birth of a new generation of giants to be (GMT, COA, and OSG).
My avatar is in remembrance of my great-great-grandfather George Hartman Hitt: Company E, 7th Viginia Infantry.
Any opponents in or about Leavenworth(less), KS?

What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
Napoleon at the Crossroads (see next question)
What game(s) have you played recently?
None to conclusion since I prefer FTF but I can't seem to find any opponents in the Leavenworth, Kansas area. I usually just set up a game, admire it, push the pieces around a few turns then get tired of it and put it away.
In general, how much time do you spend gaming?
Very little as I prefer FTF but I have no opponents to my knowledge where I live
How big is your game collection?
I currently own 26 games

I was born in 1950 in my grandfather's house in Rixeyville,Virginia. Followed my dad to many places in Europe and the States as he was in the Army. The family ended up in Laurel, Maryland where I graduated high school in 1968. I joined the Army in 1976 in which I spent 20+ years as a 13E (fire direction specialist). I retired from the Army in 1996 in Leavenworth, Kansas. While in. my duty stations included Ft. Knox, Ft Sill, Ft Bragg, Austin, Minnessota (as a recruiter), various posts in Germany. I participated in the Gulf War (1991). After retirement I started working at Kansas City International Airport as a car rental agent for National Car Rental. I am still there. I must say that I was dissappointed in my not finding a job comenserate with my intelligence and job experience that I gained while in the Army.
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
I guess right now my favorite passtime is messing with the computer either reading Calvin & Hobbes or going to ConsimWorld reading/inputing the various posts affilliated with the various games that I own. I enjoy watching sports on TV as long as the Detroit Tigers, Minnessota Vikings, Washington Capitals, Maryland Terrapins, Virginia Cavaliers, or Virginia Tech Hokies are playing. If I go to the movies it will only be to see a fantasy/horror genre. I read very little but if I do it will be a book on the history of the wars with regard to the various games that I own (see above). As far as music goes my favorite groups are The Moody Blues, ELO, and Pink Floyd. I also enjoy listening to classical music especially Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. I have recently disscovered Gregorian and am learning to like them a lot.
