Wargamers at Historicon next week?

Anyone else heading to Historicon next week (July 16-19, 2009) in Lancaster, PA?

If you're not familiar with the con, it's HMGS-East's biggest annual convention and is mostly miniatures-centric. If you're planning to attend, stop by our booth and say hey (Collins Epic Wargames).

Byron, we're stuck here in Oceanview--pretty bad out there, as you can imagine. I'm getting the footlockers of out of print games I keep in the garage out of there for the 5 o'clock high tide. Yikes! Thanks for the gouge on the ODMS. I may show up sometime. My schedule is usually pretty hectic so I rarely make the Tidewater ASL Group and Tidewater Area Naval Gamers gatherings...but one never knows. Glad to see someone is doing so much on the Italian theater as you are!

So, you are close to me in northern Norfolk! I was supposed to play some ASL at Sean Deller's house in Smithfield, but with this blooming nor'easter coming up, the coastal flood warnings (we get flooded in all the time), I stayed home. Rats. Had no idea you lived around this area. I was very intrigued by the San Pietro game thru the website explaining the terrain symbology, etc.--looks way cool. Am definitely going to get it!

Hi Byron,

nice to have you here! Thanks to the Internet and this community, the Wargame Universe became a well arranged place :) We are currently overhauling our website and the basic concept, but once we are done, I will gladly update any information about Frontline General.

Have a great day!

I've found the internal debate (i.e. the debate in my head) has been to either play a lot of games poorly or a few games well. I prefer the latter model, but then you must, as you say, find that set of holy grail games that one chooses to become goo…
